Something I just realized!

now that i'm out if i ever do find someone and settle down and start a family, my parents wont be a part of it.

my dad wont walk me down the isle if i get married, if i have kids they wont know their grandparents.

oh and by the way i had my freaking tubes tied so as not to have kids in this system.

A big wedding doesn't make a good marriage. What does is someone who will love your weaknesses and fears andhelp you through. A lot of inlaws take in and love the ones who marry in as much as their own. Until you meet the right person you can't understand this, when you do it just falls to place

the media is very powerful.

many news people just want to get a scoop even if their breaking story isn’t checked out for accuracy.

some journalists are precise and double check whatever they are reporting.

Often the news turns into an editorial. And not a good one; where you have to think and confirm your own ideas or come up with realistic rebuttals. And there is the omission of all the story. On any subject I have personal knowledge of the newscasters are just plain wrong so I assume the things I know less about is the same

The jw library has the meeting parts for the week (month) that can be downloaded into a tablet. When you go to reference them you often get the message about being updated. Some of are still "in" so need to at least look at the material. The point being something that was up to date in may is now needing tweaked

I used to get those guys at work. The times I called I was asked to perform first aid (no training) or was lectured on the cost of ambulance. Not always, though. Some I got to know, everything from geniuses with mental problems to ones who should never been left alone. I surely would have moved the trolley, or given him the 5 bucks

being born in to me was devastating.

We did do some HOT dates way back when, but there was a inhibition to some things, which may not have been all bad. Buddies mother took me under her wing so I got a realistic look at Xmas and putting up tree decorations, and some other "worldly pursuits. Married in, a GOOD one, been through some trying times which show true character, and we buckled down and supported each other I do not think it was religion that helped us as much as Good character

I had a different gf, which didn't work out because if the low income hobble we were all put into but my wife was in all probability the better one anyway. Few regrets over lots of it; wish I had gone into military, but friends who did were disillusioned and my personality well may gotten me killed (vietnam)

i am confused about the time scale regarding the year of the destruction of jerusalem.

in the 1st october 2011 watchtower an argument is presented to back up 607 bc but there are so many conflicting arguments that this happened 20 years later according to secular sources.
